The Central University Hospital of Asturias, designed by Juan Navarro Baldeweg and Angel Fernandez Alba, consists of an outpatient area, shaped like four stepped fingers that protrude from the building, a hospitalization building, an accident and emergency area and a central general services area that unites the whole complex. The programme is completed by the university areas.
