This project stems from the need to exploit the information generated by more than 4 million public transport journeys in the Community of Madrid. To this end, IDOM, in partnership with Fujitsu, is developing an advanced analytics solution in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud for the Regional Transport Consortium of Madrid (CRTM).

An advanced analytics solution is being developed, based on Big Data and BI with ML technology, which will provide the region with a real-time analytics system and allow the CRTM to manage and plan its operational and economic resources in a more agile way, adapting supply to existing demand and its characteristics.

More than 700 indicators have been generated to collect and present the specific information of the business activity (service quality, marketing, supply, demand, service quality, revenue and costs), allowing the CRTM to make decisions in real time and adapt supply to demand.

This solution uses disruptive technologies and was presented as a success story at the AWS Summit Madrid 2022. It was also present at the exhibition of intelligent systems applied to public transport at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Community of Madrid PM 2022 and at the Global Mobility Call 2022.
