Solve the volumetry while ensuring the views
The Bolueta Area was occupied by a highly polluting steel factory. Our urban planning proposal was the winner in one of the first national competitions with citizen participation additional to the technical jury. The main challenge was solving the great amount of dwellings while ensuring that as many of them as possible would enjoy the views of the new river walkway and the forests of the surrounding mountains.
First prize in the 11th Edition of the AVNAU Urbanism Awards of the COAVN, 2009.
Selected at the 8th Sao Paulo International Architecture Biennial.
