Tamazunchale Combined Cycle Power Plant – 1,135 MW

The Tamazunchale CCGT is located in San Luis Potosí, Mexico and it started commercial operation in June 2007.
Based on two modules with 2x2x1 configuration, each module includes two GE 7FA gas turbines, two HRSG (Deltak) of three pressure levels and a GE D-11 steam turbine.
It is known to have one of the largest, if not the largest, generation capacity in Latin America (1,135 MW of installed capacity).
IDOM has developed the basic engineering and detailed engineering of the project on behalf of Iberinco.
