Meat product factories – El Pozo

Since 2009, IDOM has been providing different consulting services (feasibility studies, master plans, production improvement consultancy, lay-out studies, …) and engineering in the different phases of the projects (concept and design, procurement management, construction management, permits and start-up, …) for the main meat industry in Spain.
Among other works, IDOM has carried out the Master Plan and provided the necessary services for the expansion and modernization of the El Pozo Alimentación plant in Murcia, with the execution of new facilities:
- Center of cooked and sliced meat products, a 67,000 m² facility
- Automated palletizing center
- Automated warehouses
- Automatic dryers
- Extension of extraterrestrial lines
- Enlargement of pig stabilization zone
- Sausage factory
