MUBIL: Smart and sustainable mobility pole

The MUBIL hub is an ecosystem of companies, technology centers and universities for the promotion of technological projects that lead to new solutions and advanced products that respond to the challenges of smart and sustainable mobility. At IDOM, we have led the way in designing a comprehensive strategy focused on new mobility by setting up the MUBIL Hub so that it can consolidate itself as a relevant player at European level.
There are several key areas in our approach:
- Definition of the strategic model and value proposition of the Hub.
- Support in the definition of the Pole’s governance.
- Design and implementation of MUBIL’s business, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
- Development of the economic-financial model of the Pole.
- Support for technological specialisation and the design of technological equipment for the development of new products.
- Definition of MUBIL’s operating model and laboratories in the fields of energy storage, testing of electric traction systems and testing of on-board hydrogen fuel cells in vehicles.
- Drawing up the specifications for the contracting of the laboratories’ Technology Manager.
- Analysis of state aid for research, development and innovation.
The Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, through MUBIL, aims to position the Historical Territory of Gipuzkoa as an international industrial and technological benchmark in the field of new intelligent and sustainable mobility. While awaiting the inauguration of the definitive headquarters in Eskuzaitzeta, the MUBIL Centre is already developing projects and technological services for clients from different countries from its provisional headquarters in Usabal (Tolosa).
