National mitigation strategies and commitments

IDOM works on all the stages of development and implementation of mitigation plans and policies.

IDOM has provided technical services in several countries, such as:

• The structuring and design of NAMAs (Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions).
• The implementation of NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions) through the proposal, prioritization and detailed definition of mitigation measures at national level, in different sectors of activity.
• The design of MRV (Monitoring, Reporting and Verification) systems.

All these projects have included an important component of training and institutional strengthening, with an all-inclusive approach while considering the perspective of gender.
