Owner’s Engineering Services for EDL – Électricité du Liban

IDOM is providing owner’s engineering services for Électricité du Liban, as a support to the project of Reinforcement Plan of its Transmission system.
The scope of the contract corresponds to the construction of new substations and the expansion of existing ones, including the following:
- 3 new 220 kV GIS substations
- 2 extensions of 220 kV GIS substations
- 1 change of existing substation from 150 kV to 220 kV
- 1 new 220 kV HIS substation
- 1 extension of 220 kV AIS substation
The services provided by IDOM include:
- Data collection on the existing substations
- Design and preparation of technical documentation for EPC contracting
- Topographical geotechnics surveys
- Assistance during the EPC bid phase
