Seawater desalination plant in Ghana – 60,000 m³/day

The Government of Ghana contracted the construction, commissioning and operation of a water desalination plant of 60,000 m³ / day that will supply localities near the capital, Accra, which has a population of 500,000 inhabitants.
The plant will purify seawater through the reverse osmosis process, with a previous ultrafiltration stage and a subsequent remineralization stage.
Abeinsa contracted IDOM to carry out the basic engineering of all the disciplines of the desalination plant project and the detailed engineering of the same, except the civil works.
