Technical assistance for the Business Acceleration and Open Innovation Program (XTELA)

The Government of Cantabria, through the Science and Technology Park of Cantabria (PCTCAN), seeks to increase the competitiveness of regional tractor companies through the participation of start-ups with high innovative potential.

In this sense, IDOM has led a support office for the design, implementation and development of the Business Acceleration and Open Innovation Program (XTELA).

The services provided by IDOM in this project have focused mainly on:

Design and configuration of the Program, including the identification of key companies and technologies, the definition of incentives, the selection of mentors and the definition of the bases for participation.
Integral management of the call for startups and organization of presentation and matching sessions.
Follow-up and monitoring of the projects, definition and implementation of the training and mentoring program.
Coordination of the Demo Day call and organization of the event for investors, companies and startups.
Definition of the Coordination and Evaluation Committee, monitoring and evaluation during the development of the program.
Design and development of the communication strategy and management of the website for the dissemination and reception of proposals.

The XTELA Program has established itself as a platform for business acceleration and open innovation in Cantabria. Among the most outstanding achievements are the creation of a collaborative ecosystem between companies and startups, the implementation of key technologies in strategic sectors, and the promotion of a culture of innovation in the region. In addition, the organization of events such as Demo Day and the implementation of a communication strategy have made it possible to make startups visible and connect them with investors and driving companies, facilitating new opportunities for growth and development.
