The Thermosolar Plant is located in Viranapalle, Pamidi Mandal in the Anantapur district (Andhra Pradesh).
Designed to produce a 55 MW, this Concentrated Solar Power plant based on parabolic trough technology with an 8 hour thermal energy storage system of molten, also designed by IDOM.
